Clients or Third Party Stone
Using your own slab or requesting stone from a third party? Bamby Stone welcomes both options—please note, client-supplied slabs are handled at your own risk, while third-party stones (not in our collection) may carry external warranties and require suitability checks.

🔹 Using Client-Supplied or Third-Party Stone Slabs with Bamby Stone 🔹
At Bamby Stone, we’re proud to offer flexibility and support for clients who prefer to use their own stone slabs or choose materials outside of our curated collection. However, it's important to understand the difference between Client-Supplied Stone and Third-Party Stone, as different conditions apply.
🪨 Client-Supplied Stone Slabs
These are slabs purchased directly by the client from an external supplier, separate from Bamby Stone. In these cases:
-
No warranty is provided by Bamby Stone for any stone-related issues such as defects, cracks, chips, discolouration, or breakages.
-
The client assumes full responsibility for the slab’s suitability and condition, including risks during production or installation.
-
Bamby Stone strongly recommends that such slabs be inspected by a qualified stone expert before engaging us for cutting or installation.
-
A handling fee per slab applies, in addition to our standard production and installation costs.
While we’re happy to work with your chosen material, please understand that we cannot be liable for any issues that may arise due to the nature or quality of the slab.
🏗️ Third-Party Stone (Organised by Bamby Stone)
These are stones not listed in our current collections but requested by clients. While not held in our regular inventory, Bamby Stone is happy to assist in sourcing these slabs from reputable suppliers. We split these into two categories:
1️⃣ Man-Made Stone
(Sintered, Engineered, Porcelain, Recycled Stone)
-
Warranty for these materials is provided directly by the manufacturer.
-
Many leading brands are already available at Bamby Stone.
-
If your preferred brand is not in our collection, we can usually arrange supply upon request.
2️⃣ Natural Stone
-
We can procure natural stone slabs from other suppliers upon request.
-
Client must inspect or approve the stone, as natural materials vary widely in pattern, porosity, and performance.
-
Natural stones are not manufactured and may contain inherent characteristics (e.g., veins, pits, or fissures).
-
Bamby Stone will advise clients on any potential concerns before production, especially where the stone’s suitability for specific applications (e.g., benchtops, wet areas, backlighting) is uncertain.
💡 Note: Choosing a stone outside of our curated range means it has not undergone Bamby Stone’s internal selection and quality assurance process. While we are more than happy to assist, the final decision—and associated risks—rest with the client.
