At Bamby Stone, our team strives to simplify all calculations, ensuring that our clients can easily estimate their production costs. We provide measurements for every slab in our collection page below each stone slab. By comparing your project drawings with our slab sizes, you can determine the total size required for your project. If one slab suffices, only one production cost and one installation cost will be added to the slab cost.

Production & Installation Services at Bamby Stone
At Bamby Stone we believe that quality and aesthetics should not be compromised. Once we have determined the number of stone slabs needed for your project, we calculate the production cost based on the quantity of slabs required. All our natural stones are pre-sealed, and we only use top-quality, A-grade natural stones.
How Project Calculation Works ?
We calculate costs per slab. If your project needs 3 slabs at $3500 each, the total is $10,500.
Can I estimate my project cost before contacting you?
Yes, it's easy! For example, if you have a kitchen benchtop and splashback, measure the benchtop length (2800mm) and depth (600mm). For the splashback, measure the length (2800mm) and height (400mm). Use these measurements for a simple drawing to estimate your project cost at home.
Based on your drawing, you need a 2800mm by 1000mm slab. Here's how to proceed:
- Choose your natural stone slab & Check if one slab is enough and add it to your cart.
- Add production service with your desired edge profile.
- Add 1x installation cost to your cart.
Increase the slab quantity & Production cost in card if you need more than one slab.

Bamby Stone Edge Profiles
At Global Marble & Granite, we use CNC technology for precise and affordable stone benchtop edges. After CNC, we hand-finish for perfection.
Popular now are simple square edges with a rounded pencil finish, like T20 and T40, which resist chipping better. We recommend a minimum R5 radius for marble and granite. External corners are rounded to match your edge detail or requests.

How it works?

Quote/Invoice
Please review your quote/invoice based on the provided plans. Detailed layout technical drawings are included.
- For projects with a timeline of less than 3 months, please pay the full invoice amount to proceed.
- For projects exceeding 3 months, a 50% deposit is required to book your project.

Final measurements visit
After we receive your payment, you will get an email with a link to schedule your final measurement. Please choose a suitable day and time, and ensure the job site is ready for final measurements before scheduling.
Production & Installation
Once we finalize your measurements, you will receive detailed plans for confirmation. After your approval, you can schedule your installation for any date 15 working days to 6 months in advance.
How long all process takes?
Most of our projects are completed within a 4-week timeframe from start to finish.
