π IMPORTANT INFORMATION β PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
β Final Confirmation
β’ By booking your installation, you confirm that all final measurements, appliance positions, edge details and project specifications are correct.
β’ Production and preparation have been completed based on your confirmed details.
β’ Changes requested after booking may not be possible and may result in additional charges and delays.
π Scheduling Rules
β’ You may book your installation up to 6 months in advance.
β’ If a date is unavailable, it has already been reserved by another client.
β’ Bookings made without receiving our official invitation link will be cancelled.
πΈ Cancellation or Rescheduling Within 7 Days
Installation dates are reserved specifically for your project.
If you cancel or reschedule within 7 days of your confirmed installation date:
β’ 50% of your quoted Installation Fee will be charged.
If cancellation occurs within 48 hours of installation:
β’ 100% of your quoted Installation Fee will be charged.
These charges reflect labour allocation, transport scheduling and operational commitment.
π« Site Not Ready = Full Installation Fee
If our team attends site and installation cannot proceed due to:
β’ Incomplete or misaligned cabinetry
β’ Appliances not installed or not positioned
β’ Other trades interfering in the installation area
β’ Unsafe or restricted access
β’ Any site readiness issue
β’ 100% of your quoted Installation Fee becomes payable.
β’ A new installation booking will require payment of an additional Installation Fee.
β οΈ Clearance Requirements β Splashbacks & Vertical Panels
All splashback and vertical stone areas must be completely clear within the installation zone.
This includes:
β’ LED strip lights or aluminium channels installed directly under overhead cabinets where splashbacks will be fitted
β’ Rangehood trims or flues reducing clearance
β’ Electrical fittings not recessed into the wall
β’ Decorative trims, brackets or protruding fixtures within the stone area
Cabinet doors do not need to be removed unless they prevent safe installation of the stone.
We do not remove, modify or adjust cabinetry, lighting, electrical components or fittings.
If obstructions prevent installation, our team will leave site and the full Installation Fee will apply.
Please ensure all required removals are completed before your scheduled installation date.
π Cabinetry & Adjacent Surface Touch-Ups
Stone installation may require manoeuvring panels within tight clearances between cabinetry panels and walls.
Minor cosmetic scuffs or light surface marks can occasionally occur despite reasonable care, particularly where cabinetry is already fully fitted or tolerances are minimal.
If Bamby Stone is responsible for a minor cosmetic mark that can be reasonably repaired:
β’ The remedy will be touch-up, polishing or local repair.
β’ Full door or panel replacement will only apply if the damage cannot reasonably be repaired to a consistent finish.
We recommend arranging matching touch-up paint or materials from your cabinet maker prior to installation.
𧱠Ownership & Site Handling
β’ All stone materials remain the property of Bamby Stone until installation is fully complete.
β’ If any pieces are moved, altered or tampered with by others before or during installation, we reserve the right to stop work immediately.
β’ We are not responsible for damage caused by other trades or site activities.
πͺ¨ Natural Stone β Hairline Cracks
β’ Due to natural veining, minor hairline cracks may occur during handling.
β’ These are professionally repaired on-site where appropriate.
β’ Replacement will only occur if deemed structurally unrepairable by our team.
π Completion Inspection & Sign-Off Required
β’ A site supervisor, builder or authorised representative must be present to inspect and sign off the installation upon completion.
β’ Installation must be inspected immediately while our team is still on site.
β’ Any visible concerns must be raised before our crew leaves.
β’ If no representative is present at completion, the installation will be documented and deemed accepted for all visible and reasonably inspectable matters once our crew departs.
β° Full-Day Installation Window
β’ Installations are booked for a full-day window: 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM.
β’ Our crew may arrive at any time within this window depending on the dayβs schedule.
β’ Booking does not guarantee a morning arrival.
π§ Additional Installation Conditions
𧽠Splashbacks & Wall Coverings
All splashbacks, tiling, and wall coverings must be completed after stone installation.
If installed before, Bamby Stone accepts no liability for fitting issues or damage during installation.
π¦ Backlighting Installations
For backlit stone features, the client must provide a flat, level base or cabinetry structure.
Bamby Stone does not construct or supply this base. Improper prep may delay the project and incur additional fees.
πͺ Upper-Level Installation Surcharge
For installations on upper floors, difficult access areas, or sites requiring scaffolding/crane assistance, additional labour fees may apply.
Contact us in advance to avoid delays or unexpected costs.
π§Ύ Off-Cuts & Surplus Material
Off-cuts and leftover stone pieces remain the property of Bamby Stone unless otherwise agreed upon.
These can be purchased separately upon request.
