📐 Final Site Measurements / Templating – What You Must Know

Final templating is the last site-check stage before production begins.

Once final measurements are completed and confirmed, your project moves into production. Changes after this point may incur additional fees, delays, or re-production costs.

Before booking final templating, please make sure:

• Cabinets are fully installed, fixed, level, and ready

• Appliances, sinks, cooktops, taps, and relevant specifications are on-site or already confirmed

• The site is clear, safe, and accessible

• Existing benchtops or obstructions have been removed where required

• Any required cabinet corrections have been completed

• Splashbacks, wall tiles, and painting are completed after stone installation, not before

Final site measurements are the last step before production begins. Once we complete this visit, your project moves into production and materials are prepared based on confirmed site conditions.

✅ Your Site Must Be Ready:

• Cabinets must be fully installed, fixed, and level
• Appliances (sinks, cooktops, taps) must be on-site or confirmed via specs
• Site must be clear, safe, and accessible for our team
• Splashbacks, wall tiles, and painting must be done after installation

🧠 Final Decisions Required:

• A decision-maker must be present to confirm:

• Sink and cooktop placement

• Edge profile selections

• Overhangs and join locations
  • All decisions must be final at time of visit — changes later may incur fees or delays

❗ Cabinetry Alignment & Corners:

• Curved or angled cabinets must be corrected by your cabinet maker
• If left unresolved, Bamby Stone is not responsible for visual flaws or improper fit

⚒️ Backlighting or Large Stone Panels:

• If you’re installing backlit stone, you must build a flat, level base structure beforehand
• Large panels may require on-site joins if site access is restricted

🚫 Missed or Unready Sites:

• If we attend and the site is not ready, a $499 + GST re-measurement fee applies
• We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule on the spot if safety, access, or site preparation is inadequate

🧾 What Happens After Measurements?

Once measurements are confirmed, your project will:

1. Enter Production Stage (no changes can be made without additional fees)

2. Move forward to Installation Booking, which you’ll schedule separately via email

A decision-maker must be present during the templating visit to confirm:

• Sink placement

• Cooktop placement

• Tap hole positions where applicable

• Edge profile selections

• Overhangs

• Join locations

• Corner or radius details

• Any final project-specific details

All decisions must be final at the time of templating.

Changes requested after templating may incur additional fees or delay production.

Curved, angled, uneven, or misaligned cabinets must be corrected by your cabinet maker before final templating.

If the customer chooses to proceed without correcting these issues, Bamby Stone is not responsible for visual flaws, uneven gaps, improper fit, or alignment-related concerns.

For backlit stone projects, the required flat and level base structure must be prepared before templating.

Bamby Stone does not supply or build the structural base for backlighting.

Large panels may require on-site joins depending on slab size, site access, handling requirements, and installation conditions.

If we attend and the site is not ready, unsafe, inaccessible, or not suitable for accurate templating, Bamby Stone may cancel the visit and reschedule.

A re-measurement fee may apply.

After final measurements are completed:

1. Final measurements and project details are reviewed

2. The project moves into production

3. Any further changes may incur additional fees

4. Installation will be scheduled separately after production planning is confirmed
