At Bamby Stone, we use only high-quality LED panels for our projects. These flexible panels are designed to serve you for up to 20 years. Each panel supports up to 2 tonnes and allows full colour control using either a mobile app or remote controller. Just six panels cover one square meter.

These panels are ideal for advertising displays, stone counters and bar tops, curved surfaces, and low-clearance installations - especially where dimensions may change or be uncertain.

Powered by RGBWW 5-in-1 chips, each unit is fully dimmable, field-customisable, and non-soldered - saving time and eliminating the need for custom lead times. Perfectly suited for curvilinear layouts and premium stone projects.

🔆 Frequently Asked Questions – Stone Backlighting (LED Panels)

1. What is the required distance between LED panels? Panels must be installed flush with no gaps. Gaps cause shadows or uneven lighting.
2. How much space should I leave between the stone and the panels? None. The stone rests directly on the panel thanks to built-in spacers.
3. What’s the distance between the spacers and would that provide enough support for the stone? Distance including spacers is 9 mm. When you lay the stone on the panels directly, they can carry up to 2 tons of weight and fully support the stone.

5. Does Bamby Stone offer installation? Yes, within Queensland and other states (with additional travel/accommodation costs). You're also welcome to use your own electrician.
6. How much is installation? $24.00 + GST per panel, including power supply setup, controller connection, and full wiring.
7. Can you help calculate what I need? Absolutely! Send us your layout or drawings and we’ll give you a custom quote.
8. Do I need to prepare anything before installation? Yes. The base must be completely flat and structurally ready. 👉 This is the responsibility of your builder or cabinetmaker. Bamby Stone does not supply or install structural bases.
9. Would light fittings be accessible for maintenance if sandwiched between stone or substrate? If installed on a vertical surface, yes – you can access them by installing on a flat surface where you can slide the panel in and out. If installed on a horizontal surface, since the stone sits directly on the panels, you would first need to remove the stone to access the panels.
10. Can Bamby Stone remove splashbacks or cabinetry? No. We do not offer removal services. All demolition must be completed before we arrive.
