1) What is the required distance between LED panels?

All panels must be installed flush against one another with no gaps between them to ensure even light distribution. Leaving space between panels can cause unwanted shadow lines or uneven illumination behind the stone.

2) How much space should I leave between the stone and the panels?

None. Our LED backlight panels are specifically designed for stone applications and come with integrated spacers. This means your stone can be placed directly on top of the panels—no additional spacing required.

3) Do I need anything else besides the panels?

Yes! To complete your backlight system, you’ll need:

• Power Supply Units

• RGB Controller (to change light colours or intensity)

4) Does Bamby Stone offer installation for backlight systems?

Yes, we do! Our team can handle your backlight panel installation in QLD, and we also offer installation in other states with additional travel & accommodation costs.
Prefer using your own electrician? No problem—we also supply all required components directly to you.

5) How much does Bamby Stone charge for backlight installation?

Our flat installation fee is $24.00 per panel (ex GST). This includes all connections, power supply units, and controllers required for the backlighting system.

7) Do I need to prepare anything before installation?

Yes. It’s critical that the cabinetry or surface beneath your stone is perfectly flat and structurally ready.
👉 This base structure must be supplied and built by your builder or cabinetmaker. Bamby Stone does not provide or install this base.

8) Can Bamby Stone remove existing splashbacks or cabinetry to prepare for lighting or stone installation?

No. We do not recommend or get involved in any removal works. All demolition or removal must be completed before we attend site.
